Bridging the Justice Gap: GL&P and The Asia Foundation to Join Forces

Access to justice is a cornerstone of a fair and equitable society. Recognizing this fundamental right, GL&P remains steadfast in its commitment to contribute positively to the community, extending beyond economic objectives.
On October 11th, GL&P had the honor of hosting representatives from The Asia Foundation to explore potential collaborations to enhance pro bono and legal aid initiatives in Laos. The meeting was marked by fruitful discussions and a shared enthusiasm for a strong partnership.
We are excited about the possibility of collaborating with The Asia Foundation on initiatives such as:
Streamline Case Management: Collaborate on efficient case management for pro bono and legal aid cases supported by The Asia Foundation.
Expand Legal Access: Establish legal clinics to provide free legal advice and services to underserved communities.
Develop Legal Capacity: Empower individuals through paralegal training to support legal processes and access justice.
Promote Legal Awareness: Raise awareness about legal rights and processes through community legal education.
We look forward to working with The Asia Foundation on the initiatives. Together, we can make a significant impact on access to justice in Laos.
