Dr. Phet Sengpunya

Founder & Director

Bounyasith has more than 19 year experience working in legal advisory and dispute resolution, focusing on labour, corporate and litigation. He serve as an executive committee and a head of legal division and training center of the Lao Bar Association. He obtained a Master of Laws from Nalsar University, India and Bachelor of Laws from the National University of the Lao PDR.

Dr. Phet is a seasoned legal professional with over 8 years of experience in advising clients on complex commercial, energy, finance & banking, intellectual property, labour, and corporate matters. He has successfully represented clients in numerous high-profile cases and has provided consultancy services to international organizations such as the International Trade Center, UNPD, CTIF, and GIZ. He also serves as a training master of Lao Bar Association. Dr. Phet holds a Doctor of Laws from the University of Pecs, Hungary, a Master of Laws from Osmania University, India, and a Bachelor of Laws from the National University of the Lao PDR.

With over eight years of legal experience, Phompasit Sadettan is an expert in the intricate areas of corporate law, labor law, and energy regulation, complemented by his skill in dispute resolution. Phompasit’s professional background includes serving as an in-house legal executive for a foreign power energy company, providing him with valuable, real-world insight into the operational and regulatory challenges facing international energy firms. He earned his Bachelor of Law degree from the National University of Laos.

Xaisavanh has over 8 years of experience working in legal advisory and dispute resolution. He leads the firm’s M&A and Pro Bono practices. With a keen eye for strategic acquisitions and a deep commitment to community service, Xaisavanh has successfully guided numerous clients through complex mergers and acquisitions while also making a significant impact on pro bono initiatives. Xaisavanh is also committed to giving back to the legal community and serves as a substitute for the Legal Professio Programme at the National Justice Institute. He holds a Master of Laws from South Korea and a Bachelor of Laws from the National University of Laos.

Anoma Praphanchit, a seasoned business professional and legal expert, will lead our business consulting services as a partner at GL&P. With a strong foundation in business law, startups, negotiation, and problem-solving, Anoma has been a sought-after professor, trainer, and consultant in Laos for several years. He has taught at several renowned institutions in Laos and currently serves as a board member of the American-Lao Business Association. Prior to his work in Laos, Anoma gained valuable experience in the US, holding roles as a lawyer's assistant, real estate agent, insurance agent, loan officer, and professor. He is Lao lawyer and also the founder of Anoma Consultant Sole Co., Ltd. Anoma holds a degree in law from the National University of Laos and also, degrees in business from the EU and the US.

Now, she leverages her diverse legal experience, gained while assisting lawyers in the past years, to support senior lawyers at Grandeur Law & Partner across a wide range of legal matters.
